Woven Futures,
Rooted Traditions.
Sɛsɛ is a textile studio exploring new possibilities within Kente weaving.
Our designs are developed through code-driven systems and hands-on experimentation, then refined in close collaboration with designers and master weavers in Ghana. Code allows us to generate, test, and expand patterns beyond convention — the loom brings them to life.
Every piece is meticulously hand-woven on traditional Kente looms using carefully selected threads, with a strong focus on durability, material research, and long-term sustainability. We see weaving as a living practice, one that can evolve without losing its soul.
Designed and created between Ghana and Switzerland, Sɛsɛ brings together cultural knowledge, contemporary tools, and a shared vision for textiles that feel both radical and timeless.
Kente Strip Generator
As part of our offering, we're building a Kente strip generator, a tool for exploring color, rhythm, and pattern before the weaving begins.
It's part of a longer effort to make textile production more participatory, and to bring weavers into more of the decisions that shape the cloth.
